GDPR - NEW GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION OF THE EU

 

The protection of personal data has a high priority at Convidis. We assure you that all personal data - both as a customer and as a candidate - are safe with us and treated with the utmost care. Convidis complies in particular with the provisions of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

With GDPR, the processing of personal data is now regulated at international level.

 

HOW DOES GDPR AFFECT YOU AS A CUSTOMER OR CANDIDATE?
Convidis sees GDPR as an opportunity to strengthen the relationship with our candidates and clients and to maintain their trust in us. In cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences St. Gallen, we have prepared our company for compliance with the GDPR.

Adjustments were made in the following areas:

​

• Updating customer contracts and data processing agreements
  The agreement governing the processing of data between data controllers and data processors has been adapted to the new Data Protection Regulation. Small adjustments also resulted in the contracts with our customers.

• Update approvals
  If you are a candidate for a position with us or participate in an assessment, the processing of your data based on your consent. Our formulations of customer approval were adapted to the GDPR requirements.

​

• Documentation of all activities for the processing of personal data
  The General Data Protection Regulation requires us to keep detailed records of the processing of all personal data. This results in a homogeneous processing of personal data for all offices of Convidis and their partners.

• Updating of IT systems
  We have reviewed all IT systems to make sure our candidates and clients data remains safe. Changes have been made to meet the demands of the GDPR regarding the rights of data subjects - for example, the right to restrict processing or the right to delete.
   

• Training, continuous awareness
  Creating policies is not enough. We make sure that all Convidis employees meet the high standards of privacy we strive for as a company. We achieve this by training our employees and raising awareness of manufacturing processes.
